Try to find some level of comfort with how you?ve been behaving. Everything about you has been supporting this behavior. So, in a way, what you?re doing is challenging and threatening your very way of living. With this thought, you will be better able to understand some of your reactions.

Behavior comes in lots of basic flavors, but those that have to do with real anger are more complex. Think about the things that you can do within your life that will amount to getting rid of the bad behaviors. People usually have too much to choose from when it comes to this area. It is simply too overwhelming to attempt to completely overhaul your whole psychology all at once. Focus completely on one of the more negative qualities like being vindictive. Then just keep working on it until you?ve gotten over it. It is going to take longer for some anger management techniques to take hold than others. This is because the work you do is being done on the deepest parts of you. So much conditioning happens to us, even by the time we?re teenagers we have many ingrained reactions and behaviors. But you are able to do the hard work and remember it?s for a good cause which is you.
